What is the goal of NOVACon?

NovaCon's purpose is to unite the local art community in an effort to create more opportunities and strengthen relationships between the artists and patrons. Our goal is to help all of the artists in Lubbock and the surrounding communities get together, share ideas, and make art.

Above all have fun with art!

The Fabulous Folks behind the NOVACon.

Scads of people have come together to make this convention a reality and we must honor them for their efforts. This takes a lot of work and tons of creative intelligence, and these folks have it!

Sara V.

Sara V.

Sara is a very skilled artist and destined for great things in life. She is a down to earth person with a quirky personality. Get her autograph now, because she's on her way to the top.

Timothy M.

Timothy M.

Timothy is a student in every respect. He thrives on learning and perfecting his drawing skills. Timothy brings lots of ideas and excitement to everything he does.

Christina F.

The Cupcake Mistress, she's a great lady with so much potential it's hard to nail her down in a couple of sentences. Leave it to this: awesome is, as awesome does, and Christina does awesome very well.

Bakka

Bakka is a force to be reckoned with. She is strong, skilled, and smart. She is one of those people that doen't know how to fail. Everything she does is sprinkled with her innocence and creativity. She was made to be a great person and worthy of all her many blessings.

Mack M.

Mack M.

Mack is our resident fuzzy. A programmer by day and creative crusader by night. He is smart, capable and tenatious. Watch out for this one, he's going to make a difference.

Stephen and Melissa

Stephen and Melissa

Our Musician Laureates, career musicians and artist these two have really made a difference in this town. They are active in several groups and are always happy and up for good advice and conversation. We have gotton so much help from them I can't thank them enough.

Sarazann is well, me. I think I'm pretty cool. That's about it.
